Guyun

Guyun is a file manager for the object storage you already pay for: Alibaba Cloud OSS, Tencent Cloud COS, Qiniu, Upyun, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, MinIO, or any S3-compatible service. There is no account system, no relay server and no telemetry — files go straight from this device to your own bucket, and access keys stay in the Keychain: never uploaded, never synced, never exported.

The everyday parts are all here: grid and list views sorted by name, date or size, with new folders, rename, copy and move; whole-bucket search rather than the folder you happen to be in; upload from Files or Photos, or a whole folder at once, with a queue you can pause and resume; video that plays while it is still loading, PDF and text opened directly; and deletes that go into the bucket's own trash, where they can be restored or removed for good.

A few things people ask about: on iOS, files up to 200 MB are handed to the system and finish even if you switch apps or lock the screen; a small pill in the corner shows how many transfers are running and how far along; the usage ledger breaks today, this month and last month down by bucket and by device, and stays on this device; storage size measures a bucket's file count and total size; and archived objects ask before a restore, with the delay and the billing in the dialog.

The same bucket can be connected on iPhone, iPad and Mac at once — anything written by one shows up on the others after a refresh — and a whole configuration can be handed to another device by scanning a code instead of typing keys. Face ID / Touch ID can lock the app or a single storage, with transfers continuing while locked. It requires iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 / macOS 14 or later, and the interface comes in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

The app is free; storage and egress are billed by your provider at its published rates — no cloud space is sold and no cut is taken. You can also try the built-in demo storage without a bucket: no account, no keys, no network. It is not a sync or auto-backup tool: nothing starts on its own, and every transfer is one you began and can watch finish.
